Product Care

Proper maintenance of your leather watch strap is essential for preserving its aesthetic appeal and durability.

Genuine leather watch straps are crafted from a natural material that behaves similarly to skin, and is not designed to be water-resistant or waterproof. While they can withstand minor exposure to water, such as light rain or splashes from a faucet, prolonged contact with water should be avoided. Excessive water can adversely affect the leather, leading to staining, discoloration, or premature wear. Therefore, it is vital to keep your leather strap dry.

Regular cleaning of your leather watch strap is an effective way to maintain its fresh appearance and prolong its lifespan. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to gently wipe the leather, ensuring not to rub aggressively, as this can damage the material. Avoid excessive water usage and, if possible, prevent contact with any chemical substances that may harm the leather. After cleaning, allow the strap to air dry naturally before wearing it again.

When not in use, it is advisable to store it in a cool, dry location. Use a watch box or a soft cloth to shield the leather strap from dust and potential scratches.
